Barb is a busy mom of three boys and a freelance writer. She is an avid reader who enjoys reading about history, parenting and gardening. She often gets engrossed in reading fiction at the expense of her housekeeping. In her spare time, she is an amateur herbalist and enjoys learning about the powerful healing properties of herbs. She strives to be environmental and believes strongly that we all need to do our part to preserve the Earth for future generations.

Barb has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and has taken graduate level courses in education and history. She has also completed the Institute of Children's Literature Writing for Children and Teenagers and Beyond the Basics courses.
